Station Profile

KDAF-TV CW33 began broadcasting in 1980. Over the past 44 years, the station has had several ownerships and network affiliations. In 2019, Nexstar Media Group, Inc. purchased KDAF and subsequently acquired The CW Network, making KDAF an owned and operated CW affiliate of Nexstar. KDAF currently broadcasts five video streams (CW33, Antenna TV, GRIT, Charge, and Rewind TV) and operates the website www.cw33.com.

KDAF produces two daily lifestyle shows. “Inside DFW with Jenny Anchondo” and “Fun on the Run with Yolonda.” Two additional weekly shows, “A Taste of North Texas” and “DFW Metro Pets,” add to the station’s local content. KDAF’s shows are in line with the brand “Always Fun.” FUN meaning Fresh Unique and New. KDAF exclusively broadcasts an entire high school football game of the week. KDAF CW33’s “High School Showdown” airs Thursday nights on CW33 throughout the season.

KDAF serves the entire community of Dallas/Fort Worth through promotion and participation in multiple community causes benefiting the population of North Texas. Additionally, KDAF broadcasts the Dallas Holiday Parade, St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and the Dallas Pride Parade.

KDAF broadcasts The CW Network and a variety of syndicated programming including “Young Sheldon,” “The Big Bang Theory,” “Friends,” “Seinfeld,” and many more.
