Station Profile
WFXV, a Fox affiliate, was acquired by Nexstar Broadcasting in late 2003 as part of the Quorum acquisition. WFXV also operates low power station WPNY, the My Network TV affiliate in the market. During the spring of 2004, Mission Broadcasting acquired WUTR, an ABC affiliate also located in Utica, and subsequently entered into various service agreements with Nexstar Broadcasting station WFXV.
