FOX8/WGHP is the FOX affiliate serving the Greensboro/High Point/Winston-Salem, North Carolina Television Market (46th). Historically one of the strongest FOX affiliates in the country for news viewership, WGHP currently produces 13 hours of local news per day and more than 20 hour-long locally produced specials throughout the year. These specials are hyper focused on localism and expand on long running franchises such as Roy’s Folks with Chad Tucker, Newsmakers, and Swing State. Additional specials throughout the year shine the spotlight on our military Veterans, local high school and college sports, and Remarkable Women of the Triad. In addition to serving the market as the most watched local news source on linear television, the myFOX8.com website has grown to become the most used local news website in the state and consistently ranks in the top 20 in the entire country for usage.
